Tickets can now be purchased at Hot Rats Records, Sunderland and also Rare Ape clothing, Sunderland. Tickets are still £3.00 so get em now as they are going like cold pints on a hot summers day!

Also the acoustic stage has been cancelled for this year's show. Sadly we would have been really struggling to get accoustic musicians on in the time between bands. However - there are plans for the Accoustic stage to return next year...... so watch this space.

Oh and you may have noticed the imortal words... next year, well plans are in motion already for 2009 - you can't stop the rock!

Bit of a monster of an update!

It's been a while since we've had any updates, so like buses you wait for one then several all come at once.

With 7 weeks to go things are really taking shape and it's looking really like this year could be another scorching event. We are very happy to announce that once again Gentoo Sunderland are helping us with some of the running costs which is excellent as it should mean all money in on the day goes straight into the pockets of the PDSA and Grace House Appeal's.

As a first at Kennyfest there will be an event programme on sale on the day. This will be a limited run, so whe they're gone, they're gone. Depending on the success of this we will be having programmes available in the future, as we feel it makes a cracking souvenier of a great day!

Tickets are selling well but some will be available on the day. Its the day of the Wear Tee's derby so the town will be busy afterwards and we will probablies see a few extra people coming in, so make sure you get a ticket early. Website Tidy and a few other bits.

Over the last few weeks you may have experienced a few problems with the Kennyfest site, the Metal Gremlins had been left to play with the site hence why it went all funky... Kennyfest 2008 - Back and BIGGER than ever....

Kennyfest 2008 is GO GO GO! We are proud to announce the line up so far for Kennyfest 2008 as being Maiden England, Sabbatica, Judas Beast, Dakota, Wind of Change and Death in Blood.

In our third year organising Kennyfest we are very proud of the line up we have managed to pull together and it promises to be and amazing event once again - arguably the best so far.

Once again we will be supporting the PDSA and Grace House Children's Hospice Appeal - with all proceeds going these fantastic and very worthy causes. Tickets will be priced at £3 in Advance and £5 on the door on the night.

Kennyfest 2007 DVD

As some of you may have noticed at the 2007 Kennyfest we had a number of Video cameras at the gig. These were to record the show for a Kennyfest DVD, and now after several months of fiddling with hours and hours of footage we now have a DVD to document the evening. This will be available for £7 and again all proceeds going to charity.

The DVD will contain songs from just about everyone who performed on the night as well as some as the fun and frolics from the Air Guitar competition that was held.

The release date is scheduled for March - so keep checking back for more information.
