Maiden England

Maiden England - renowned Iron Maiden tribute act have been wowing audiences for several years with their close to the bone renditions of Maiden classic's. Having previously played venues up and down the country in their own right as well as being original Maiden vocalist Paul Dianno's backing band for a lengthy tour they will prove to be very worthy show closer's to Kennyfest 2008. Feet firmly on monitors with this lot - and expect to see a familiar metal mascot make an appearance during their set............

Sabbatica

Sabbath in their peak were an untouchable and arguably the granddaddies of metal as we know it today. Leading North-East tribute act Sabbatica will pay homage to the legends that are Black Sabbath, with some of the greatest riffs that have ever shook the world Sabbatica will really shake the Kennyfest stage to its ground level foundations.

Judas Beast

After the disappointment of having to pull out of Kennyfest 2007, Judas Beast are hoping to make amends by bringing some long-awaited Judas Priest Heavy Metal to Kennyfest. With a look and sound that resembles Priest in their hey-day, Judas Beast will aim to be Unleashed in the North-East.

DAKOTA

Dakota will add a classic rock feel to the proceedings of Kennyfest 2008 with a mix of Rock Classics and more contemporary covers. Deffinatley a band to watch whilst sampling the delights of the bar and enjoying the Kennyfest vibe.

Wind Of Change

Wind of Change have been causing a bit of stir over the last 12 months with their tribute to the legendary HAWKWIND. Kennyfest will briefly become a home for space rock and some very very spacey tracks that have been made famous by one of the most genre defining bands.

Death In Blood

Getting proceedings on the main stage of to a bombastic start - Mackem metal heads Death in Blood will blow away the crowd with the brand of Thrash Metal that resembles the genre at its 80's pinnacle but with power and aggression that has defined more extreme music in recent times. Deffinatley a band going somewhere and another band upholding the fine tradition of fantastic opening bands to Kennyfest.

 

DJ Metalheed

After another year being locked up since Kennyfest 2007 Metalheed will be let loose in public once again, to play all your favourite rock/metal classics as well as give away some fantastic prizes.  Remember to buy him a pint if you see him, 12 months in a padded cell can definitely work up a thirst!
